My Writing

Journalism

I joined The DePauw, my university's student newspaper, in my first year. Since then, I have worked as a Staff Writer, Photographer and Managing Editor, and I now serve as Editor-in-Chief, overseeing all aspects of the paper. In 2025, I was named one of the top 10 statewide finalists in Indiana's annual Keating Competition.

Substack Essays

In addition to creating podcast episodes, I also started publishing short essays on feminist philosophy.

Poetry

I have been writing poetry and prose since high school! In my senior year at Welham Girls' School, I served as Editor-in-Chief of Frangipani: Free Verse, a student-led poetry zine. Some of my work has also been published in A Midwestern Review, DePauw's literary magazine. I occasionally share new pieces on my poetry Substack as well!

Other Work

I have also been working as a writing tutor at DePauw University, helping my peers with arguments, organization, structure and citations.
